Do you own a laptop? Do you often want or need to work in cafeterias? Coffee and laptops is meant for you. This site was started because I'm myself a major fan of coffee...and laptops. I have worked in cafeterias with free wireless internet for pretty much the past seven years. Even now that I actually have an office, I love working in cafeterias every once in a while. It's kind of an addiction you might say. Are you one of us?

List of cheap low-cost airlines and cheap airline fares and some mumbling
Whenever I decide to go travelling, I start to go through different cheap airline sites. It really depends which ones, obviously I won't be looking for cheap international flights if I just want to a few thousand miles away or France or Portugal, for example.
Though in all honesty, usually when I do decide I want to go travelling, I might have some idea where I want to go, but by the end of the day it all depends on from which sites I can find cheap airline tickets and into which countries. It doesn't really matter if it's far far away on another continent or just nearby (well, starting from 2000 km anyway).
The problem with me is simple - once I decide to go travelling, I want to start my trip within the next week usually. Of course, it doesn't always happen like that, but that's the main point anyhow. And it isn't easy to find cheap flights to anywhere with such short notice. Except for the last minute tourist packages to Turkey or something similar. But I'm not much into it.
And every time I start to plan a trip - well, planning isn't really the word I was looking for, my plan usually ends after landing in the first destination and the actual route is then starting to take shape - I go through all possible airline websites I can remember. The sad thing is, I tend to forget a lot of them. So I decided to list them all here. Well, all that I can remember right now. Feel free to add some.
Ryan Air
It's nothing new anymore. Everyone who has travelling in Europe or at least is above the age of 10 is usually aware of this low cost airline. Ryan air has some type of price-guaranteed action going on pretty much all the time. Whether they offer you tickets for EUR 5 or EUR 20...it's theoretically guaranteed. Of course, even though you often really can very good prices with them, the picture is not always as sunny.
Firstly, Ryan Air is not a perfect airline for anyone - for example, for me, it's usually not. Very often you can get cheap tickets only if you book at least 2 weeks in advance. And I don't like to do that. I want to buy a ticket for tomorrow or something. And for that purpose Ryan air doesn't usually look like a cheap airline at all. There are some exceptions, of course, but still.
Secondly, Ryan Air's guaranteed price is not always that guaranteed. In addition to the 'if seats are available' rule they have a number of additional fees for each ticket bought. If you can get a seat for EUR 10 and you were just looking for a ticket cheaper than the "normal" then paying some extra fees ain't a problem. But if you're really with a tight budget then taking the EUR 10, adding EUR 20 for airport taxes, adding EUR 5 for online check in, adding payment handling fee of EUR 5, adding a checked baggage fee of EUR 10 then it doesn't look that great price at all anymore. Your EUR 10 ticket has suddenly turned into a EUR 50 ticket.
Our course, it's still not bad, but it all depends on your budget. Plus if you want to go travelling tomorrow then it's virtually impossible to find the EUR 10 tickets in the first place.
Easy Jet
They claim that they are europe's leading low cost airline. I'd like to argue, compared to ryan air, easyjet doesn't look as good. Neither as popular. Maybe they have forgot to change their slogan. Their prices might be similar to Ryan Air but tend to look higher. And again, for "tomorrow's" flights, they fail to provide good fares.
Wizz Air
Yet another cheap airline for travelling within Europe.
My Air
Airline for travelling (maiinly) in and between Italy, France and Spain.
Sky Europe
Has some kind of deal with My Air (or maybe it's vice versa). Sky Europe is Eastern Europe's low cost airline which flies to destinations in 19 European countries
TuiFly
TUI operates third-largest German fleet after Lufthansa and Air Berlin. Some great offers can be found every once in a while to 74 destinations in 16 countries.
Jet4you (from europe to Morocco)
Moroccan airline which operates between 9 cities in Europe and 8 cities in Morocco. Only flights FROM Morocco TO Europe or vice versa are available but these are often available for VERY great prices.
Air Baltic
Great airline with some good campaigns every once in a while, reason why Flylal went banckrupt and why Estonian Air is possibly on its way.
Czech Airlines (has good campaigns every once in a while)
Yet another one. I could lie, but I don't know much about them, except for the fact that sometimes they really do have some great offers.
Norwegian
Low-cost Scandinavian airline with some great prices to and from Scandinavia.
Condor
Airline based in Germany with always some special offers available for shorthaul flights (starting from EUR 59 one way) as well as longhaul flights (starting from $199). As much as I have seen thought, the advertised min prices doesn't seem to include the airport tax.
Air Berlin (some good offers)
At the time of writing this, Air Berlin has a EUR 199 city tour package for young people (ages 18-27). Included in the price are five flights (you decide which ones). More European airlines could offer similar packages every once in a while.
Just to name a few, haven't looked into these ones too much. But the main idea with these 3 is - IF you combine those 3 together you might find some great deals from Europe to Australia. Depends on timing but 400 EUR might not be just an illusion of a fool.
Malaysian Airlines
Air Asia
Tiger Airways
Thomson Airways
Among other things, they seem to have some great hotel/room offers with prices that start from as low as 5 pounds.
I hope this list helps at least someone. I created it for myself, just to remember the sites I should check whenever I wanna go travelling and am looking for cheap airline tickets. I have have used most of the low-cost airlines myself in the past, just a few, but have checked their prices quite often. When to think about it, even Lufthansa and Finnair sites should be checked every once in a while. They have their moments too.
